With more than 1,000 moorings for boats of between 19 and 115 feet in length, Puerto Marina is one of the largest marinas in Andalusia and it has been awarded the Blue Flag by the European Union every year since 1987 for the quality of its waters and facilities. Also, on Monte Calamorro itself you can enjoy cave paintings in Cueva del Toro, the most important archaeological site of Benalmádena’s prehistoric times.

Benalmádena Pueblo

Benalmádena Pueblo (Old Village) is located just over 1 mile from Hotel Mac Puerto Marina and it constitutes the municipality’s historical area, whose origins go back to the times of Muslim presence in the area. Its cobbled streets are lined up with traditional Andalusian white houses and when in the area you can visit the Church of Santo Domingo de Guzmán, the Museum of Pre-Columbian Art, Colomares Castle and the Illumination Stupa, which is the largest Buddhist centre in Europe.
